1 Easyfood vegetable multigrain burger

200 g Sushi rice

50 ml Soy sauce

50 ml Mirin

50 ml Sake

20 ml Teriyaki sauce

1 Egg

2 Spring onion

1 Onion

1 Garlic clove

How to prepare

Cook the sushi rice

Boil the rice in a saucepan with water and salt until cooked. Drain the rice and set it aside for later.


Cook the base seasoning

Dice the onion, garlic and spring onion so that they are ready to fry. Sauté the chopped vegetables for the base seasoning in a frying pan. Add the soy sauce, sake, mirin and teriyaki sauce. Let the mixture reduce slightly, then add the rice.


It’s rice time!

To add an extra something special to the rice, finish cooking it by adding an egg and beating it in with the rice. It will taste great!


Time for your star product to shine

The secret to this vegetarian recipe is the gourmet quality multigrain veggie burger. Fry the vegetable and oat flake burger for 3.5 to 4 minutes at 180 ºC in a deep fryer or in a frying pan with plenty of oil. Remove any excess oil with absorbent paper.


And last but not least, dish up!

Cut the multigrain vegetable burger into thick slices, serve the rice in a bowl and add the veggie burger on top. Now you have a tasty Tonkatsu dish that’s ready to eat!
