General Tso cornflake chicken bites by Easyfood

Tender and juicy and with a touch of spice! This tasty recipe for General Tso-style chicken bites is always a hit. The Chinese recipe made with products from the Easyfood range will be sure to turn you into a huge fan of easy cooking. You’ll love it!

General Tso chicken comes from the province of Hunan in China. Alongside spring rolls and yakitori chicken it’s one of the most famous Asian recipes in the world. With Easyfood’s cornflake chicken pieces, you only have to fry them for 3-4 min at 170º in a conventional fryer. The latest success on the menu!

Ingredients

180 g Easyfood cornflake chicken pieces

200 ml soy sauce

How to prepare

Fry the cornflake chicken pieces

Cook the battered chicken pieces in a fryer with sunflower oil for 3-4 minutes at 170 ºC, or in a frying pan with plenty of oil.

Sauté the seasoning

Heat a little oil to the frying pan, then add the chopped chillis, the finely chopped garlic and the ginger. Sauté over a medium heat, add the flour and cook a little longer. Add the soy sauce and rice vinegar, and cook together for 1 minute. Add the Easyfood cornflake chicken pieces and cook over medium heat so they soak up the sauce.

On to the Pak Choi

Heat some olive oil in a frying pan and add the Pak Choi leaves with salt and pepper, then cook on a medium/high heat. Pour in some water and leave the mixture covered for 1 minute.

4.

Ready to eat!

Plate the Pak Choi first as a base, followed by the toasted sesame seeds and General Tso chicken. A new exotic recipe for your menu!
